Meet the heart and soul behind WELLcome Om, Karen Lindsey, a passionate advocate for holistic wellness and mindful living.
Karen embarked on the journey of creating WELLcome Om after her favorite yoga studio closed, inspiring her to carve out her dream yoga sanctuary. Amidst a bustling life filled with two amazing children, a supportive husband, and a busy career, she was involved with fitness training, hot yoga, and running. Karen shortly realized the importance of slowing down and appreciating the present moment. The revelation came during the challenges posed by the pandemic when she recognized the need to simplify, to move away from overtraining for life, and to embrace the art of being present.
Karen firmly believes that being healthy and staying fit doesn’t have to be arduous; it’s about simplifying healthy habits to achieve tangible results. With certifications in Hatha Yoga, Faster Way to Fat Loss, and as a Group X Instructor, she advocates for functional fitness, emphasizing that longevity is deeply intertwined with wellness.
For Karen, wellness isn’t just a practice—it’s a way of life. She understands the unique challenges faced by women, who often find themselves overscheduled and prioritizing others over self. Karen advocates a simple yet profound truth: we must fill our own cups first to overflow into the lives of others.
